I guess I look young
Today was quite funny as there were several people that I met who at first thought I was a student before it came out that I was actually a new faculty member. It made me laugh and is to be expected to say the least. Most people expect a faculty member to be old and gray. I guess it may just take a while before everyone gets used to it. Oh well, I guess it's better to be thought of as younger than I am than being confused as someone older. It does make me smile that's for sure.
